Sujan Banik, Ph.D.

Dr. Sujan Banik has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh, since 2016. He received his M.Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the same university in 2013. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Shizuoka, Japan, in 2022. He received a Prime Minister Gold Medal Award in 2012 and a Vice-Chancellor Gold Medal Award in 2011 for securing the highest marks/grades in B.Pharm (Hons.) examination. He was awarded the President Award from the University of Shizuoka for his outstanding Ph.D. research in 2022. He has

1. Drug Delivery Systems

  • Pharmacokinetic control/improvement of poorly-water soluble compounds by solubilization approaches with the concern of safety and efficacy

2. Nano Formulation Design and Characterizations

  • Development of polymeric nanoparticles for controlled and targeted drug delivery systems

  • Nanocarrier delivery systems for cancer therapeutics especially focused on nucleic acid delivery
